It has fueled its expansion plans by offering franchises to financially robust companies that promise long-term sustainable development of its business. McDonald’s entered India in the mid 1990s. The company ran into rough weather as ingesting beef, one of the key ingredients in McDonald’s burgers, violated the religious beliefs of Hindus.
